We were lucky enough to get same day service to repair a fault with our back door. I liked the fact that everything was well communicated from the start; possible causes, an idea of costs, and also a rough eta. James then called me to confirm his time of arrival. The problem was clearly explained and thankfully, fixed the same day.

I was impressed with both the service, and the personnel. Highly recommended.

Our front door closed leaving us locked out of our new house. Paul arrived within 15 minutes of a phone call on a Saturday afternoon! Explained the process that he’d try the more basic, less costly approach first off, before more drastic measures resulting in new locks, keys were needed. Unfortunately they were unsuccessful. In a bizarre change of events we were greeted with our new neighbours next door who were able to access ours from the rear of the property, as we’d left balcony windows open. I asked Paul how much I owed him for his time and efforts and his reply was “I didn’t get you back into your home, your neighbour did so there is no charge”! He insisted on taking nothing but of course I didn’t let that happen. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Honest and professional service. Thank you Sir Fix a Lock.

Used Paul back in February this year for a troublesome patio door. He was out the same day – gave me various options re different ways to fix it and the difference in prices. Not in any way pushy, very professional and polite and clearly knows his business.Fixed it there and then for a good price. 7 months later it is still working fine.
