Professional Locksmith in Plymouth – Sir Fix a Lock Ltd

Sir Fix a Lock Ltd was created in April 2011 by Paul Bushell with a view to provide a professional locksmith service for people in the Devon and Cornwall region (Plymouth, Ivybridge, Saltash, Liskeard, Bodmin, Tavistock, Callington, Torpoint and surrounding areas).

Having completed Full Colour Service with HM Forces, I want to continue to provide a professional service to the highest of standards, with the best in customer care and satisfaction.  My aim is to get rid of all the cowboys in the industry by being fair on pricing, providing quality products and making sure all our testimonials are made public.  Most of my testimonials are available on the Trading Standards website but you may also add me to your Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn accounts to be able to give a testimonial on those domains.  Alternatively leave feedback on Yell or any other website (if you do so, please inform me so I can link it to the main website thanks).  Sir Fix a Lock will be proven to be high quality by the public, my customers to whom I serve with the utmost professionalism.

As an Accredited Member of the National Network of Approved Locksmiths (NNAL) you can be rest assured that I have been trained and tested by a national association.

Sir Fix a Lock Ltd offers discounts to OAPs and members of the Armed Forces, Police, NHS Staff and Teachers. Estate Agents and Landlords will also receive discounts.  Please inform me at the time of quotation of your eligibility so I can discount immediately.

Eco – Friendly as they come!

As an eco friendly company, I make sure all rubbish and old parts are fully recycled.  All metal parts are separated and sold for cash.  Every penny from the recycled parts will go to a local charity. My first trip to the recycling centre was on 6 Apr 13 and the scrap metal was valued at £20.  This cash was given to the Parent and Toddler Group that meets every Wednesday in Greenbank Church in Liskeard.  My second lot of recycling made £120 which I rounded up to £150 and gave to the childrens charity Jeremiah’s Journey.  A press article can be read on the subject by clicking here.

We accept payment either by card, BACS or cash.  On certain occasions, we can accept a cheque for payment.

Yale in we trust-paths

I’m the winner of Yale’s Trusted Faces Competition at the Locksmith Exhibition 2014!  Please click the logo above to read a news article on this.

When it comes to home improvements and security solutions, statistics show that people prefer to use professionals to install products, rather than trying their hand at DIY. Skilled locksmiths, who are the trusted and recognised experts, are in a strong position to benefit from this.

Yale is the most trusted brand in home security and provides an extensive range of trusted products. As a result, it needs the support of trusted locksmiths to ensure that consumers trust Yale on every level to keep the UK’s homes, families and possessions safe and secure.

Dementia FriendsOn Wed 21 May 2014, I attended a Dementia Friends awareness briefing run by Plymouth City Council.  This was to make sure I was aware of dementia and more importantly, what to do when I encounter customers with dementia to make sure they’re properly looked after.

My Spare Time

One of my main passions is music, specifically punk and rock.  I love playing the drums and feel privileged to have the old drum kit from Steve Grantley of Stiff Little Fingers.

I also love kayaking and riding my bike, especially with Lottie 🙂
