Sir Fix-a-lock Ltd was created in March 2011 by Paul Montgomery with a view to providing a professional locksmith service for people in the Devon and Cornwall region (Plymouth, Ivybridge, Saltash, Liskeard, Bodmin, Tavistock, Callington, Torpoint and surrounding areas).

Paul started the business back in March 2011 whilst still serving in the Army having completed a locksmith course as part of his resettlement package. This was completed 3 years before he was due out having completed 25 years Full Colour Service. He wanted to continue to provide a professional service to the highest of standards, with the best in customer care and satisfaction. Paul’s aim was to get rid of all the cowboys in the industry by being fair on pricing, providing quality products and making sure all Sir Fix-a-lock’s testimonials were made public.

Eco-friendly as they come!

As an eco friendly company, we make sure all rubbish and old parts are fully recycled. All metal parts are separated and sold for cash. Every penny from the recycled parts will go to a local charity. Our first batch of scrap metal when the company formed was valued at £20. Now our scrap metal values are in the hundreds of pounds yearly and we have continued to give all the money to local funds, totalling into thousands to great local causes.

Variety of payment options.

We understand that having the right amount of money with you in cash can be tricky, especially in emergency situations when you’ve been locked out of your home. To suit our customers needs, Sir Fix-a-lock accept payments either by card, BACS transfer or cash. On certain occasions, we can accept a cheque for payment.

My spare time

One of Paul’s main passions is music, specifically 70’s punk and modern rock. His main joy is playing drums and Paul feels extremely privileged to have the old drum kit from Steve Grantley of Stiff Little Fingers legend. He also loves kayaking and riding his bike, especially with Lottie his faithful hound. Paul has also just taken up Paramotoring as a hobby and is looking forward to taking to the skies around Plymouth once he gains more experience.
